Each sterile 100×15mm petri dish contains approximately 20mL of a nutrient base derived from beef heart infusion supplemented with L cystine and defibrinated sheep blood. L cystine supplies the sulfhydryl compounds required for the growth of organisms such as Francisella tularensis and other demanding bacteria that may not grow on standard blood agar. The sheep blood further enriches the medium by providing additional nutrients and growth factors while allowing observation of hemolytic reactions. LB Broth supplemented with 0.4 % Maltose and Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO₄) is a specialized transduction ready medium designed for propagation of Lambda bacteriophage and improved phage infection efficiency. Each sterile 500 mL bottle contains Lysogeny Broth pre supplemented with these additives, eliminating post autoclave preparation. Maltose acts as an inducer of the lamB gene in E. coli, increasing expression of LamB outer membrane proteins that serve as receptors for Lambda phage attachment. This significantly improves infection rates. Magnesium sulfate provides essential divalent cations that stabilize phage particles and facilitate adsorption of the virus to host cells. The formulation is ideal for bacteriophage research, phage transduction experiments, and laboratories studying bacteriophage host interactions.

M FC Agar with Rosolic Acid is a selective and differential medium widely used for enumeration of fecal coliform bacteria in wastewater, surface water, and drinking water samples. These plates are supplied in a 60 × 15 mm format filled with approximately 10 mL of agar, providing additional hydration and stability during incubation. Designed for membrane filtration workflows, the medium is incubated at elevated temperatures around 44.5 °C to selectively promote growth of thermotolerant fecal coliform organisms. Rosolic acid serves as a selective agent that inhibits Gram positive bacteria and non fecal coliforms. The formulation also contains aniline blue indicator dye. When fecal coliforms ferment lactose, acid production causes colonies to absorb the dye and appear blue, enabling clear differentiation.

Methyl Red–Voges Proskauer (MR VP) Broth is a dual purpose biochemical medium used for differentiating members of the Enterobacteriaceae family based on their glucose fermentation pathways. Each tube contains approximately 10 mL of buffered peptone glucose broth designed to support bacterial growth during incubation. After growth, the culture is divided to perform two tests. The Methyl Red test detects mixed acid fermentation, producing a stable acidic end product that turns the methyl red indicator bright red. The Voges Proskauer test detects acetoin, a neutral fermentation intermediate, through the addition of alpha naphthol and potassium hydroxide reagents. These complementary reactions help distinguish organisms such as Escherichia coli, Enterobacter, and Klebsiella during biochemical identification.
